INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit is celebrating its third anniversary with a “Feel the Skyline Vibes” experience combining a stay at the striking hotel with Spanish tapas, cocktails and a sunset cocktail-making class high above Bangkok.

Soaring 34 floors above Bangkok’s On Nut neighbourhood, the 208-room hotel opened in 2023 with a design inspired by some of the Thai capital’s best-known landmarks and facilities ranging from a transparent sky-high infinity pool to LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar and integrated co-working spaces.

“Feel the Skyline Vibes” offers guests a series of experiences for two at LUZ, the hotel’s authentic Spanish tapas bar on the 33rd floor. The package features daily breakfast for two, a set of tapas for two with a complimentary cocktail at LUZ, and a sunset cocktail-making class for two. Guests also receive a THB 2,000 daily food and beverage credit per room, per night, starting from the third night onwards.

LUZ is running a social media giveaway offering one winner a one-night stay at the hotel and dinner for two at LUZ. To be in the running, entrants must follow @luzbangkok_tapasbar on Instagram, like and share the giveaway post to their Story, comment with their favourite Spanish word, and tag their “favourite dining crew”. The winner will be announced on October 15 at 5pm.

LUZ also staged “LUZ Viva: A Taste of Madrid” on September 18 to celebrate its third anniversary and brought the Spanish capital’s vibrant atmosphere to the rooftop party. Guests savoured authentic Spanish bites and cocktails accompanied by live entertainment on the 33^rd floor before the merriment continued with a poolside after-party on the 34th floor.

Drawing on Meliá’s Spanish origins, LUZ invites diners to embark on a culinary pilgrimage of Spain by offering tapas, wines, beer on tap, cocktails and signature sangrias against dramatic vistas of Bangkok’s skyline. The venue delivers a spectacle unlike any other in the city, with diners on the 33rd floor able to peer into the transparent bottom of the hotel’s 34th-floor infinity pool.

LUZ is under the stewardship of Spanish Chef de Cuisine Juan Ignacio García Racionero, a.k.a. Chef Nacho, who has honed his craft in some of Spain’s top kitchens.

Since its debut, INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit has been recognised by some of the industry’s highest accolades including recognition in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2025 as among the Thai capital’s top five hotels. The hotel clinched a coveted spot in the National Geographic Traveller (UK)‘s 2024 Hotel Awards. LUZ has been awarded “Restaurants from Spain” certification for its efforts to promote authentic Spanish gastronomy.
