Beijing Marriott Marquis Hotel Hosts China Open Delegation
Beijing Marriott Marquis Hotel has recently completed its hosting assignment for the China Open delegation. Since late September, the hotel has successively welcomed tournament players, coaches, officials and event staff, supporting the smooth running of the event with attentive and professional service, and receiving positive feedback from players and event personnel. This is one of the larger international sports delegations the hotel has hosted since its opening on September 15, 2026, and serves as a practical test of its operational readiness and group-reception capabilities.

Beijing Marriott Marquis Hotel is located at North Extension of Beijing Central Axis, Chaoyang District, in the heart of the Olympic Green — an area that brings together sports events, tourism, business meetings, cultural exchange and technology, and is home to dual-Olympic landmarks such as the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), as well as the China National Convention Center. The hotel is a short walk from Olympic Park Station on Metro Lines 8 and 15 and a short drive from the National Tennis Center, offering convenient access for the tournament delegation as well as for business and leisure guests.
To manage opening operations alongside a large group, the hotel established a dedicated tournament service team in advance and arranged its processes around the routines and travel needs of an athlete delegation: consolidated check-in and express check-out channels for group arrivals and departures to reduce waiting time; room assignments and flexible housekeeping windows with do-not-disturb options aligned with jet lag and match schedules; extended dining hours at South Market All-Day Dining and Kan Kan Lobby Lounge to fit tournament timetables, with meal options suited to athletes’ dietary needs; and coordinated access to the 24-hour fitness center and the 25-meter indoor heated pool for training and recovery.
Supported by 666 guest rooms and suites, approximately 3,500 square meters of meeting and banquet space and three distinctive dining venues, the hotel handled concentrated group arrivals during peak periods while keeping the stay experience comfortable for other guests. Located on the 17th floor, the M Club provides breakfast, all-day light bites and express check-in or check-out for eligible members and executive floor guests, while Kan Kan Lounge offers a relaxed meeting point for players and staff.
Throughout the stay, the hotel received positive feedback from a number of participating players, coaches and tournament staff regarding responsiveness, dining arrangements and the overall stay experience. Tournament organizers also recognized the property’s operational organization and service execution during its opening phase.
