PT Hatten Bali Tbk Wins Multiple Awards at AWC Vienna Summer Tasting 2025
PT Hatten Bali Tbk proudly announces its outstanding achievements at the prestigious AWC Vienna Summer Tasting 2025, the world’s largest officially recognized wine competition. In this competition, 5,382 wines from 41 countries were evaluated, with entries judged in single cabins and tasted anonymously (blind tasting) by an esteemed international jury of oenologists, wine analysts, sommeliers, and specialist journalists.

From this rigorous competition, PT Hatten Bali Tbk brought home a remarkable collection of awards, further solidifying its reputation as a pioneering force in Southeast Asia’s wine industry. Gold medals were awarded to Pino de Bali and Sweet Alexandria from Hatten Wines, alongside the Shiraz from Two Islands Reserve. Silver medals were also achieved for Aga Red and Aga White from Hatten Wines, as well as the Blanc de Blancs and Cabernet Sauvignon from Two Islands Reserve. In addition, the competition granted a Seal of Approval to Aga Rosé and Jepun Sparkling Rosé from Hatten Wines, together with the Chardonnay from Two Islands Reserve.
The AWC is internationally renowned for its credibility, professionalism, and scale, ensuring that each medal reflects the highest standards of wine quality and craftsmanship. Winning multiple awards demonstrates PT Hatten Bali Tbk’s ability to produce wines that combine global winemaking techniques with the unique character of Bali and South Australia, where its grapes are sourced (for Two Islands).

PT Hatten Bali Tbk is the company behind four distinctive wine brands: Hatten Wines, a pioneer of Balinese winemaking using locally grown grapes; Two Islands Wines, which brings in premium Australian grapes to be vinified in Bali; Two Islands Reserve, focusing on single-vineyard and premium small-batch selections; and Dragonfly Wines, a fun and approachable collection made for everyday enjoyment. Together, these brands showcase the company’s wide-ranging expertise and its commitment to delivering wines that suit both local and international markets.
Beyond its award-winning existing portfolio, PT Hatten Bali Tbk is also preparing to introduce new brands, set to be officially launched in early 2026. Remarkably, these upcoming brands have already received recognition at AWC Vienna 2025, achieving Gold Medals and Seals of Approval ahead of their debut. This early success signals exciting times ahead for both the company and wine enthusiasts in Indonesia and beyond.

With this year’s achievements at AWC Vienna, PT Hatten Bali Tbk once again demonstrates its ability to bring Indonesian winemaking into the global spotlight. These accolades not only honour the craftsmanship of its winemakers but also mark a milestone for Bali’s position on the world wine map—proof that dedication, innovation, and passion can create wines worth celebrating worldwide.
