  • 65

Archipelago International, Southeast Asia’s largest privately owned and independent hotel management group is growing at a record pace. The Group just announced eight new signings year-to-date in Indonesia, adding more than 1,300 rooms to its portfolio in just 12 weeks.

Ranging from iconic city hotels in Bandung and Bogor to a number of rebranding projects in Jakarta and Gorontalo, the pipeline of upcoming openings offers travelers unique experiences in both established and emerging destinations.

All of the newly signed hotels will be operated under long-term management contracts, spanning the company’s iconic ASTON, The Alana, Harper and favehotels brands.

This prolific period of growth underscores the rising demand for our brands, especially by the ever-adventurous domestic travellers who are increasingly venturing to new destinations. In tandem, they have also earmarked West and Central Indonesia as key development regions to maintain their growth momentum. In the last two months, they announced the opening of ASTON Inn Gresik, ASTON Sidoarjo, favehotel Ketapang, favehotel Prabumulih and favehotel Karawang which reaffirm their commitment to delivering high-quality hotel development projects and maintaining owners’ confidence in their innovative brands. Given the exciting infrastructural developments, they anticipate strong business and leisure tourism potentials in these markets and look forward to keeping up the momentum.

Adding to its existing portfolio in Southeast Asia, Archipelago International has been expanding its footprint in the Middle East and Caribbean markets with its GRAND ASTON brand. Most recently, Archipelago announced a long-term strategic partnership agreement with Maison Privee, one of Dubai’s fastest-growing holiday homes and corporate rental management companies.
